Co-founder, CEO
Dr. Thomas Wang is an attending gastroenterologist and clinical faculty at the University of Southern California. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and gastroenterology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He brings deep clinical expertise in specialty workflows, firsthand insight into the referral triage problem, electronic medical records, and entrepreneurial experience through Harvard Innovation Labs.
Brent Hiramoto, MD, MPH
Co-founder, CMO
Dr. Brent Hiramoto is an attending gastroenterologist and clinical faculty at the University of Southern California, with a background in clinical trials and public health. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University and completed his internal medicine residency at USC and gastroenterology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He brings complementary clinical expertise and a strong focus on product strategy, clinical trial design, and evidence-based development to Forte Care.
Christine Junhui Liu, PhD
Co-founder, COO and Scientific Lead
Dr. Christine Junhui Liu is a postdoctoral scientist in biomedical sciences at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She received her doctoral degree from Harvard University, where she developed deep expertise in neuroscience, statistical modeling, and machine learning. At Forte Care, she leads product development, workflow design, and operations, and is responsible for building the technical foundation and partnerships that drive the venture forward.
Shaswat Anand, MEng
CTO and Product Lead
Shaswat Anand is an MIT-trained engineer and AI product leader with a track record of ideation, development and delivery of AI-driven products and services in complex, high-stakes environments. He has led multiple 0→1 initiatives that improved frontline decision-making, reduced inefficiencies, and delivered multi-million dollar impact. Known for combining deep user empathy with strong technical and systems thinking, he focuses on turning ambiguous problems into practical, scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
